		This is a sample of a typical Timeline for a four hour wedding. The timeline includes the major activities and a time slot for the activity to occur. This schedule is developed with the Bride and Groom's input. The arrangement and selection of activities are based on the requirements of the Bride and Groom. You may wish to rearrange some of the activities or add/delete others. With this Timeline and the wedding planning form, your Reception will be planned for the Perfect Day without mistakes or problems.

Following is a time line requested by one of my wedding parties. As your DJ I will arrange the Timeline to fit your needs. The photographer and or videographer will require some time in each of the segments. -DJ Mel

5:30 - 5:40	Picture taking at front of head table Begin seating for meal	DJ plays soft music. ♥1
5:40 - 6:00	Everyone seated / Begin serving meal	Note: Remember the wait staff needs to have everyone seated and out of the way in order to safely and expeditiously serve the meal. ♥1
6:00 - 6:05	Meal period Blessing and or Grace	DJ plays background music DJ and or guests can make special announcements
6:05 - 6:10	Toast	DJ introduces the toast
6:45 - 7:00	Cake Cutting - Guests can be served cake as dessert	DJ announces cake cut - plays selected music
7:00 - 7:05	Bride and Groom First Dance	DJ announces First Dance and plays pre- selected music
7:05 - 7:35	Open Dancing	DJ Plays music from play list
